Title :

Professional metal detector Blackdog X-Treme operates on the idea of induction pulses. It can operate with a variety of coil types, including 13x13-, 15x15-, 1x1-, 1.5x1.5-, and 2x2-meter coils, and is used to search for metals at great depths.

CONTROLS:

DELAY: Aids in the removal of small metallic objects found at shallow depths as well as the cancellation of ground mineralization. The lower the value, the greater the depth. Unwanted objects such as bits of aluminum foil, bits of lead, or other metals can be rejected by increasing the value, but the depth of the detector may be affected.

TX-BOOST: This control regulates the width of the transmission pulse. When it is set to a high value, the depth increases, but the current consumption rises. To avoid false signals, it is recommended to lower the value for searches in mineralized areas.

FREQ: It refers to the frequency control, which can be set between 95Hz and 125Hz. This control aids in the elimination of electrical interference when conducting searches near power lines or other sources of interference. We seek a slight threshold level for optimum frequency adjustment using the GAIN setting. If we notice a lot of variation in the threshold tone, we slowly turn the FREQ adjustment control to the right or left until we get the sharpest possible threshold tone. Level 3 is recommended.

VOLUME: The device's volume control is used to adjust the intensity of the sound emitted by the speaker. This control has no effect on the device's depth.

GAIN: the device's gain or sensitivity control.

GROUND: We disable the effects of ground mineralization with this setting.

RESET: In the event of a mismatch, this button is used to reset the detector. It is recommended that you press it for 2-3 seconds after changing any detector parameter.

USE OF THE DETECTOR

According to figures 1 and 2, assemble the frame coil.

Through the connector, attach the coil to the detector.

Stand within the box while wearing the detector around your neck.

the following settings for the potentiometers

DELAY at position "0"

GROUND is Positioned at "10"

TX-BOOST in Position "10"

FREQ in "3" position

Gain in place "10"

Volume is set at "5".

Place the box on a clean, metal-free floor. Turn on the detector by pressing the POWER button. The detector will make a sound, then press and hold the RESET button for 3 seconds to silence it. If the detector continues to make noise, press the RESET button again until it is silent. The detector would be ready to search with these settings.

Begin walking slowly by grasping the frame straps with both hands. When the detector detects a metal object, it will beep and the DEPTH bar will gradually light up depending on the depth and size of the detected object. The detector can distinguish between small metallic objects on the surface.

If the signal's tone rapidly rises and falls in a small area, it indicates that the object is small and has a depth of up to 50 cm.

When the signal tone increases in a medium-sized area and then gradually decreases, it indicates the discovery of a medium-sized object at a depth of up to 3 meters, as shown in Fig.3.

When the signal tone increases over a large area and then gradually decreases, it indicates the finding of a medium-sized object at a depth of up to 8 meters, as shown in Fig.4.

To avoid the effects of mineralization, set the GROUND potentiometer to "9" if the search is being conducted in highly mineralized terrain. If the ground is overly mineralized, you can reduce the effects by increasing the DELAY value while decreasing the TX-BOOST and GAIN values.

If you search near power lines and the detector is affected by interference, you can minimize these effects by using the FREQ control.

MAINTENANCE:

The detector is powered by a 3400mAh Li-ION battery with a range of 15 to 30 hours of search time depending on the numerical position of the TX-BOOST button. When the battery level LED illuminates, it is time to charge the detector. The charging time is approximately 3-4 hours, until the charger light turns green. The supplied charger is both automatic and safe.

If you charge the batteries with anything other than the charger supplied by the manufacturer, the detector's warranty will be voided.

Cleaning the detector is advised with a wet cotton cloth. Chemical products should not be used since they could harm the aesthetics of the device and its accessories.

In any room of the house where there are metallic objects, never use the detector.

Never touch the detector inside. 500 Volts of electrocution risk.

If the frame coil is not deployed, do not turn on the detector as it will be harmed. The frame coil should not be submerged in water because it is not waterproof.
